GB3BH Digital Amateur TV Repeater

Latest News Updates:

  • Welcome to the GB3BH project! GB3BH was a former analogue 3cm TV repeater located at Bushey Heath, Hertfordshire. There is still a lot of work to do in getting the approval to use the site, if we are unsuccessful, we’ll work on acquiring an alternative location.
  • The repeater group is planning to convert the former analogue repeater to the digital DVB-S2 format. The new repeater equipment is planned to be operational by the Spring of 2022
  • The new digital repeater is expected to cover most of London on the 3cm (10GHz) amateur band. Reception should be easy with a standard satellite receiver and with a good quality PLL LNB mated to a sky mini-dish pointing towards Bushey Heath
  • This web site will be updated regularly with the latest news on progress of the project.
